1. Information we collect
We collect the following private information regarding products and third-party inquiries.

- Optional information : contact information and company name
During the use of this website or business processes, we may automatically collect information as follows.

We collect information through the user’s interaction with our website (www.texon.co.kr), and may also collect information through printed documents or emails.
2. Purposes of collection and use of private information
We may use collected information for the following purposes.
- Member management: user identification for inquiry services, personal identification, prevention of illegal use by improper members or unauthorized use, customer services such as complaint handling, and announcement of notices.
3. Information retention and utilization period
Immediately after completing the purposes for collection and use, the corresponding information shall be destroyed. However, the information indicated below is kept for a specified period as follows.
- Kept information: name, email address, contact address, access log, and access IP information
- Legal base: Texon’s home page management policy
- Retention period: 5 years
4. Procedures and methods for destroying private information
Immediately after achieving the purposes for collection and use, the corresponding information shall be destroyed. The procedures and methods for destroying private information are as follows.
- Procedures for destroying information: After achieving the purposes for the information, the corresponding information shall be moved into a separate DB, and kept for a specified period (Refer to paragraph 3. Information retention and utilization period), and shall be destroyed in time, based on the relevant laws. Information stored in a separate DB shall not be used for other purposes except for those indicated by law.
- Methods for destroying information: Private information recorded in electronic file formats will be erased using non-restorable technical methods.
5. Provision of private information
In principle, Texon does not provide customer information to outside parties. However, there are exceptions as follows.
- When users have given consent beforehand
- When requested by law, or when requested by investigative authorities based on procedures or the rules of law
6. Sharing of collected private information
Texon does not share customer information with any third party without prior customer consent. If such a need occurs, we shall inform the customer of the third party information and receive prior consent from the customer.
7. User rights, responsibilities, and exercising method
Users can always inquire and modify their registered information, and ask for the removal of information or to stop information usage.
If one wants to remove information or stop information usage, he/she can ask for this via a written document, phone call, or email to the personnel in charge for prompt actions.
Users cannot violate relevant laws, such as a privacy protection law, or invade another person’s privacy or personal life.
8. Technical and administrative protection provisions for private information
To prevent information from being lost, stolen, leaked, forged, or damaged, Texon takes the following measures for technical and administrative protection.
- Provisions for hacking, etc.
Texon does its best to prevent a member’s personal information from being stolen or damaged by maintaining the security and sustainable service of the website. All data is periodically backed up to prevent personal information damage. Up-to-date anti-virus programs are also used for the protection of personal information and documents. Encrypted communication is used to securely transmit personal information.
An intrusion protection system is used to block illegal access from outside sources. We will continue to try every available technical measure to obtain systematic security.
- Minimization and training of persons who access private information
Texon minimizes the persons who access private information, periodically assigns and renews separate passwords, and ensures that they follow the privacy policy by providing regular training.

10. Duty of notification
If there is any addition, deletion or modification to the privacy policy, it will be announced on the website at least 7 days before the revision. However, for any important change to the user’s rights, such as the collection and utilization of private information, provision to third parties, etc., notification will be given 30 days beforehand.
